Changes to GOFish after hours support service
The GOFish after hours support service will be drawing to a close at the end of January 2010. The phase out schedule will be as follows –
- Week commencing 4 January 2010, AFMA will no longer be receiving GOFish support calls on weekends between 10am and 10pm;
- Week ending Friday 29 January 2010, there will be no after hours support.
If you are experiencing issues using or logging into the GOFish online system, industry can contact AFMA licensing on licensing@afma.gov.au or on 1300 723 621 Monday to Friday.
GOFish is AFMA's online business facility and was developed with industry representatives. You can:
- submit your applications online
- view your record of fishing concessions as held by AFMA
- keep your contact details up to date
- view quota and catch information
- receive messages from AFMA
- monitor progress of applications lodged with AFMA.

When you are registered you will receive an email with your Client ID and your first-use password. You must change this password the first time you log in.
What else is planned?
Future improvements and refinements as suggested by industry are planned with an update occuring late 2009.

To contact AFMA staff in regards to a GOFish problem, you can call 1300 723 621 during the following hours:
Monday to Friday
AEST: 7:45am – 9:00pm
Saturday and Sunday
AEST: 10:00am – 10:00pm
You can also email AFMA licensing to report a problem at any time.
Please note that outside business hours an AFMA officer will be able to take your call but might not be able to correct a problem until the next business day.
