The Australian Fisheries Management Authority (AFMA) is seeking comment on a new Ecological Risk Management (ERM) policy designed to assist decision makers in developing fisheries policy, regulations and management arrangements.

The independent AFMA Commission will make a decision on the ERM policy after considering feedback from previous consultation on the ERM Guide with AFMA Management Advisory Committees and submissions received during the public consultation process.

The public consultation period will close on Friday 2 June 2017.
