Organisational structureOur organisation is structured into four Branches:
Each of these Branches reports through a General Manager to the CEO and the Commission. The four Branches are made up of a number of discrete Sections, each with responsibility for specific fisheries or operational functions. Significant links exist between all areas and interactions are assisted through regular meetings and cross-sectional, issue-specific project teams which are established from time to time to deal with particular issues.

AFMA employs highly skilled and motivated staff who are committed both to excellence in managing the Commonwealth's fisheries resources and to achieving AFMA's missions and goals. The ExecutiveOur operations are headed by a management team, comprising of an Executive, Senior Managers and Managers, which is committed to providing clear and effective leadership and direction to other staff in the organisation.
