• Commonwealth Fisheries Association (CFA) – The CFA is non-profit organisation and is the peak body representing the collective rights, responsibilities and interests of a diverse commercial fishing industry in Commonwealth-regulated fisheries.
  • Coalition of Legal Toothfish Operators (COLTO) – COLTO was founded by legal industry members to eliminate illegal, unregulated and  unreported (IUU) fishing for toothfish.
  • Great Australian Bight Fishing Industry Association (GABIA) – GABIA works closely with the Commonwealth and State governments, researchers and other stakeholders, to help shape the sustainable future and controlled use of the clean, pristine waters of the Great Australian Bight.
  • Lakes Entrance Fishermen’s Co-operative Ltd (LEFCOL) – The Co-operative has established itself as one of the most important voices in the Australian Fishing Industry and the largest (fleet and throughput) fishing co-operatives in Australia. Through diversification, several other organisations have been formed to provide additional revenue streams as well as providing top quality investments.
  • Northern Prawn Fishing Industry – The NPF Industry Pty Ltd is a collective of trawler operators, processors and marketers acting together as a voice for the industry in the Northern Prawn Fishery. NPF Industry Pty Ltd works closely with government, scientists and regulators to ensure the wild areas of the Northern Prawn Fishery are responsibly and sustainably managed.
  • NSW Commercial Fishers – This website assists the commercial fishing industry by giving commercial fishers the opportunity to advertise, buy and sell their shares and fishing gear. The site also shares articles of interest such as the SeaNet Report, media releases, environmental issues and other information that affects the fishing industry.
  • Queensland Seafood Industry Association (QSIA) – QSIA is the seafood industry peak body representing Queensland wild caught fishermen and post harvest operators. These include licensed commercial fishermen, wholesale and retail merchants along with allied industries that make up the wider seafood sector.
  • Scallop Fishermen’s Association of Tasmanian (SFAT) – The Scallop Fishermen’s Association of Tasmanian represents the best interests of Tasmanian scallop licensed operators. Members may also hold entitlements to operate in the Bass Strait Central Zone Scallop Fishery (BSCZSF) and/or Victorian Scallop Fishery.
  • Seafood Industry Victoria (SIV) – SIV is the peak body representing professional fishing, seafood processors and exporters in Victoria. SIV represents industry’s interests across a range of forums including fisheries legislation and management, licensing and access issues, marine parks, native title, environmental issues, safety, education and training, research and development, media and public relations and also marketing and promotion of seafood.
  • Small Pelagic Fishery Industry Association (SPFIA) – The Small Pelagic Fishery Industry Association represents the interests of Commonwealth-licensed operators in the Small Pelagic Fishery.
  • South East Trawl Fishing Industry Association (SETFIA) – The South East Trawl Fishing Industry Association represents the interests of Commonwealth-licensed trawl fishermen in the South East Trawl Fishery.
  • Southern Shark Industry Alliance (SSIA) – The SSIA represents interests of its Commonwealth-licenced shark gillnet and shark hook members in the Gillnet Hook and Trap Fishery.
  • Sustainable Shark Fishing Association (SSFAssn) – The SSFAssn represents interests of its Commonwealth-licenced shark gillnet and shark hook members in the Gillnet Hook and Trap Fishery.
  • Tasmanian Seafood Industry Council (TSIC) – TSIC is the peak body representing the interests of wild capture fishers, marine farmers and seafood processors in Tasmania. The council works in conjunction with the industry sector groups to ensure that all sectors of industry are ecologically sustainable and make an ongoing economic contribution to the Tasmanian economy, particularly in regional areas.
  • Victorian Scallop Fishermen’s Association (VSFA) – The Victorian Scallop Fishermen’s Association represents the interests of scallop fishermen operating within Australia’s south east. Members hold entitlement to operate within the Bass Strait Central Zone Scallop Fishery, the Victorian Scallop Fishery and the Tasmanian Scallop Fishery.
  • Western Australia Fishing Industry Council (WAFIC) – WAFIC is the peak industry body representing professional fishing, pearling and aquaculture enterprises as well as processors and exporters in Western Australia.
  • Women’s Industry Network Seafood Community (WINSC) – WINSC is a not-for-profit, independent network and is the only national organisation in Australia that represents women in the Seafood Industry.  It is a unique network that covers the tough, high-tech world of commercial fishing, the cutting edge aquaculture, research and processing sectors along with policy and resource management with an aim to enhance the role of women in the seafood industry.
