29 March 2005 - Arrangements for the 2005 fishing season
The Bass Strait Central Zone Scallop Fishery will open on 1 May and close on 20 December 2005, with an initial total allowable catch (TAC) of 1,000 tonnes. These decisions were made on 4 March 2005 by Direction No. BSCZSF01 and Determination No. BSCZSFD01 under the Management Plan.

21 January 2005 - Proposed industry visits - February 2005
A booklet explaining the 2005 management arrangements for the scallop fishery was sent to all Statutory Fishing Right holders in December 2005. AFMA staff will be undertaking a series of visits in February 2005 to explain these arrangements directly to industry.
