28 October 2005 - Amendment to the Management Plan 2003
The Southern and Eastern Scalefish and Shark Fishery Plan of Management Amendment 2005 was determined by the AFMA Board on 28 September 2005 and accepted by the Minister for Fisheries, Forestry and Conservation on 14 October 2005. AFMA will shortly begin the process of allocating quota Statutory Fishing Rights for Bight redfish, deepwater flathead, orange roughy (GAB Albany and Esperance zones) and alfonsino.

7 July 2005 - Public comment invited - Changes to the Management Plan 2003
The Australian Fisheries Management Authority (AFMA) is seeking further comments and representations from stakeholders on the revised Plan. While AFMA encourages stakeholders to focus any representations and comments on the latest changes to the Plan, stakeholders are free to comment on any aspect of the Plan. AFMA invites representations and comments from interested persons by August 4th 2005.
