This Annual Report has been prepared in accordance with a resolution of Australian Fisheries Management Authority (AFMA) Board Directors. The Board is responsible under Section 9 of the Commonwealth Authorities and Companies Act 1997 for preparing an Annual Report which complies with the provisions of Schedule 1 of that Act. Consistent with Schedule 1, this Annual Report includes a Report of Operations prepared in accordance with the Finance Minister’s Orders, financial statements for the year ended 2001-2002 and the Auditor-General’s report on those financial statements.
