SquidMAC request
Statutory Fishing Rights have been use to manage the Southern Squid Jig Fishery since 2006 and, together with the annual Total Allowable Effort, determine the number of squid jigging machines that can be used each year. This paper provides useful information for those persons who may be interested starting to fish for squid as well as those who already hold Statutory Fishing Rights in the fishery. For a copy of the paper please go to the AFMA website. If you would like to discuss any of the issues contained in this paper please contact AFMA Licensing on 1300 723 621. |

People who currently receive AFMA Update by fax who wish to switch to the e-mail subscription service can simply visit our subscriptions page, fill in their details and click “Submit”.
As has always been the case, AFMA’s subscription lists are completely confidential and are not disclosed to third parties.
Having yourself added to our online subscription service is easy.
For the next few months, AFMA Update will continue to be delivered by e-mail and by fax to allow for a transition period for those who wish to change from one to the other.
But … we want to stop fax distribution altogether so please drop us a line to let us know if you still want AFMA Update faxed and we can do that but if we hear nothing you’ll miss out on this important publication.
