Policy and planning
Management of the fishery
The Southern Squid Jig Fishery Management Plan 2005 was determined by AFMA on 8 March 2005 and accepted by the Minister for Fisheries, Forestry and Conservation on 20 April 2005. AFMA granted Statutory Fishing Rights (SFRs) under the plan which commenced in 2006.
