Privacy statement
All personal information collected by the Australian Fisheries Management Authority (AFMA) is protected by the Privacy Act 1988. Information on the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988 can be found on the Office of the Privacy Commissioner’s website.

When you visit our website, the Australian Fisheries Management Authority (AFMA) makes a record of your visit and logs the following information for statistical purposes:
- the user’s server (IP) address and machine name;
- the date and time of your visit to the site;
- the previous site you have visited ;

- the pages accessed and documents downloaded;
- and the number of bytes transmitted and received for each request.
