Application fees
Application fees for Commonwealth fishing concessions, and for transactions affecting these concessions, are set by Commonwealth Statutory Regulation and are reviewed from time to time.
For a definitive list of costs associated to licensing applications please refer to the Fisheries Management Regulations 1992, Schedule 2.
At present the fee structure is:

| Application for a Fishing Permit | $100 |
| Application for a Port Permit | $750 |
| Application for a licence separation | $300 |
| Application to vary permit conditions | $300 |
| Application to transfer a fishing permit | $300 |
| Application to nominate a different boat on a fishing permit | $300 |
| Application for fish receiver permit | $150 |
No fees apply to the grant, transfer or lease of Statutory Fishing Rights, as administrative costs are recovered from annual levies.
