Personal Properties Security Register and the fishing industry

The Personal Property Securities Register was due to go live at the end of October 2011, however due to technical issues the launch date of the new register will commence on Monday, 30 January 2012.
So what does this mean for the fishing industry?
As of February 2012 AFMA will no longer be registering third party interests on your Statutory Fishing Rights. For more information see the Fishing Industry Fact Sheet (582kb)
For further information you can contact the PPSR enquiries line 1300 007 777 opening hours are 8.30am to 5:00pm (ACST or Adelaide local time) from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
For your information in post – commencement, the PPSR enquiries line will be operating:
