The Australian Fisheries Management Authority (AFMA) is seeking comment on a draft position statement on how AFMA considers the social aspects of the ecologically sustainable development (ESD) principles in the management of Commonwealth Fisheries.
The independent AFMA Commission will review the position statement after considering all comments received during the consultation process.

The public consultation period will close at 5pm AEST on 24 August 2018.
The feedback form requests general information from the person providing the submission and requests comments/feedback against the criteria outlined below.
You can be anonymous if you do not want to identify yourself in the feedback form. Your personal information (e.g., name, organisation/affiliation) will only be used to categorise the stakeholder groups.
The form provides space to enter comments on the draft position statement.
Once complete submit the webform. Your feedback will be considered by the AFMA Commission before it decides whether or not to accept the draft position statement.
