The BSCZSF will be opened and fishing can commence at 00:01am Eastern Standard Time on 12 July 2019 and close on 31 December 2019. No scallop fishing is permitted before this time.

The AFMA Commission has determined the TAC at:

  • 3897 tonnes for Commercial scallops, and
  • 100 tonnes for Doughboy scallops

and four closures will apply for the season:

  • Flinders Island;
  • Apollo Bay 1;
  • King Island 7; and
  • King Island Bluedot Extended
