A multi-agency operation has been stood up in the Kimberley Marine Park (KMP) off the coast of Western Australia to combat unprecedented levels of illegal foreign fishing vessels being detected in the region in recent months.

The Australian Fisheries Management Authority (AFMA) is seeking suitable applicants to apply for several vacant members positions currently available on some of our Management Advisory Committees (MACs) and Resource Assessment Groups (RAGs).

AFMA’s end-of-year office shutdown period is from close of business 22 December 2023 to 1 January 2024 inclusive.
